Well I agree - he is very much a Unionist. And I sympathise with Scots not totally convinced they want to remain part of the little England Empire
But the matter is in the hands of your own people - get over 50% voting in #Scotland for the #SNP plus #green party and you have a mandate for #indyRef2

The huge tragedy of the UK is that for 31 of the past 44 years The Tories and their asset-stripping short-termism has downgraded our country.

@riggbeck in the short term, mebbe. I think after a year of Starmer being Tory calls for #IndyRef2 will only grow stronger. If he fucks up completely and gifts the Tories another 5 years (apathy is a turnout killer) independence will be so close we’ll be able to taste it.
We need to refocus on Holyrood and making sure that is robust enough to withstand the coming unionist onslaught from England. We also need to send more indy minded MPs to Westminster when we get the chance
