I thought that all of the seasons of Star Trek Lower Decks has been removed from Amazon Prime UK. I was wrong. S1 & 2 are still included with Prime UK. S3 & 4 you have to buy or stream via a Paramount+ subscription.
#LowerDecks, das ich gerade zum 5. Mal geschaut habe, ist einfach die beste Star-Trek-Serie aller Zeiten. Und, obwohl es eine Fan-Service-Serie zu sein scheint, habe ich damit komplette Franchise-Neulinge an #StarTrek heranführen können. Die Serie abzuschießen wäre einfach dumm. #SaveLowerDecks
In a just world, the #LowerDecks creatives would get as many seasons of the show as they want to write, and be promoted to run all of the #StarTrek IP.
They have demonstrated a consistent understanding of what makes Trek unique and powerful, while breaking new ground. It is the most successful writing since DS9 imo.
This would be much more exciting to me than the endless spreadsheet fan service dreck of Picard/“Legacy”

Dass eine Serie wie #LowerDecks über fast 5 Jahre möglich war und das offenbar ohne, dass den Kreativen groß reingeredet wurde finde ich ziemlich bemerkenswert.
Ich finde, das kann man ganz ohne Häme Paramount mal zugute halten.

Apparently #paramountPlus decided to cancel Star Trek: Lower Decks, ending with the 5th season.
It's bad enough "seasons" these days are an anemic 10 episodes (if that!), and then they get cancelled while still going strong? ugh..
Saddened to hear that #StarTrek#LowerDecks has been cancelled. It quickly became one of my favourite #StarTrek shows, both being a love letter to the franchise, while also shining light on its inherent silliness.
Look, assuming #LowerDecks season 5 is 10 episodes, that means the whole show is 50 episodes. That's not even two seasons of #TNG, and it's not even one season of TNG in terms of runtime.
I'm not saying CBS had no cause to cancel the show, though if I'm being honest it, is just a cynical corporate move meant to ensure profit margins aren't hurt at the expense of all the stuff that anyone who isn't a shareholder actually wants.
I'm saying that #television is following an unsustainable model
As someone who was barely 4 years old when #VOY went off the air, I would like at least one (1) #StarTrek series to make it to 7 seasons at least once in my waking memory...
I’m so grateful and in awe of what the team behind Star Trek: Lower Decks has given us and so sad, immensely sad, the next fifth season will be the last. I get it. All Good Things…. But you’ve been among the best of Star Trek, Lower Decks. We’re gonna miss you. #StarTrek#LowerDecks
