The newest version of my (mostly) xiao-compatible ch552t MCU board, Miao.
Now available at keeb.supply in this all new, pcba-friendly version: https://keeb.supply/products/miao
(I'll update the repo once I'm back home after the holidays)
Been a low profile Choc switch fan for a while, but until now haven’t tried the true choc spacing (other boards leave space for MX just in case). The folks at typeractive.xyz printed a Lily58 board with the compact spacing that Choc allows (18x17). Loving it. Typing feels far more calm. Less chaotic. I’ll be chasing future builds with this spacing for sure #keyboard#mechanicalkeyboards
I finally got proper Tux meta keys for my keyboard. I’ve wanted a keyboard with Tux keys for so long!
Having the windows logo on my keyboard has been one of those tiny annoyances that is just uncomfortable enough to be irritating. But not uncomfortable enough to actually do something about it.
As it turns out, WASD has them and they’re super affordable!
Spent some quality time with my Glove80 and Engram-based layout yesterday. I think this is, in fact, the end game. I’m still at 0 wpm on MonkeyType (having not used it or practiced for a couple of weeks), but it just feels really nice.
Finally finished the soldering and everything seems to work! Just couldn't test the stereo piezo buzzers yet, will need to write the QMK firmware first... In the meantime, here are the source and production files: https://github.com/kilipan/teenspirit
