When no live Video event we simulcast our audio channels or other RFF adjacent things.
We are able to turn on chat at any time if you'd like to schedule a hosted chat hangout to a specific Specialty channel programming block or the comfy or main channels.
We can also host audio only live streams on our events side channel and bridge it to the video for chat.

Zacząłem się przyglądać serwerowi #OwnCast (tak @FOSSGralnia myślę o Was) i znalazłem jakieś holenderskie telewizje, które nadają swój program również z jego pomocą (tzn są też na YT i w kablówkach, itd.).
Technologie FOSS/Fedi nadają się do "poważnych" zastosowań. Jak się chce, to można.
Chyba że się nie chce, lub lobby #GAFAM pilnuje, by w mediach krążyły informacje, że się nie da, nikogo nie ma, nie działa itd 😉
Albo trudniej (mentalnie) zrealizować projekt, jeśli nie da się "dowalić" do ceny oprogramowania marży, bo samo oprogramowanie jest bezpłatne.

I’m writing a brief guide for how to set up OBS to livestream with #Owncast and #PeerTube. What questions do y’all have? What do you want to know about?
@Frisk I take it that you mean you want to use hardware to encode it, but avoid doing encoding a second time over the stream.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find much on the subject, beyond a couple of forum posts. It seems that video passthrough in this configuration is not currently possible with tools like OBS Studio? It seems that, for the stream to exist and get parsed by the server, encoding is a must.
And I know for a fact it is possible to stream to an Owncast server using this option with OBS as I've done so myself a few times now, haven't had any issues with it really, but the docs do mention it could make the livestream impossible to watch.
