Last one and I'm heading for coffee and my book.
In the distance here sits The St Cross Hospital a monastery and Almshouse for ailing gentleman. It's also my parish church. Not that I'd get over th threshold without being hit by lightning.
Thank you very much HTC 5 camera mobile for the continuing good luck with images. ❤️
The Duomo di Siena seems like someone going through a "Tim Burton" phase decorated it
The walls are black & white stripes of marble, most of the statues look like they could break out singing Harry Belafonte any minute, & there's even a Strange Girl™ hanging around :blobfoxdarkghostspooky:
The black & white stripes are actually a nod to Siena's coat of arms.
At this location in North Carolina, the mountains drop off abruptly into the Piedmont hills: the Appalachian Escarpment. Weather patterns create unusually large amounts of rain. Huge granite rock faces generate waterfalls in large numbers. You can see five to ten in a single day.
Another one with the #LongExposure feature on the #PixelCam. Not a big fan of the renovation work at this market in #Porto, but I guess it works for the pictures. 😅
A less well known viewpoint on the Lynn Peak route, looking towards the Grouse range. Appropriate as the deep booming sound of the #grouse reminded me I was but a visitor to its terrain. The rocks I was sitting on were scarred by glacier induced striations, which was impressive as they're at 900+m altitude. #mountains#phonephotography#nature#hiking#britishcolumbia
