SemiAnalysis has the bear case for high numeric aperture (high NA) lithography, a next-gen version of etching with extreme ultraviolet light for finer details on processor electronics. TL;dr 2-pass low NA is a better approach for several years. Gloomy perspective for ASML, Intel, and other fans. https://www.semianalysis.com/p/asml-dilemma-high-na-euv-is-worse

24 years ago today in 1999, AMD shook up the market with the introduction of the Athlon processor!

The Athlon was AMD's first x86 processor to compete with Intel's Pentium III, and it was a huge success. It was significantly faster than Intel’s flagship Pentium III, which ran at a top speed of 600MHz.

These power-packed marvels weren't just chips – they were engines for your computer dreams, propelling us into a new era of computing greatness!

So Core 9 vs Ryzen 9?

If you think this helps, Intel.

::: System76 developers have managed to DISABLE Intel ME? (A backdoor) :popos:

It is recently claimed that System76's Coreboot open firmware manages now to disable Intel ME for Raptor Lake processor.

Are they on to something bigger towards the realm away from Intel's "Big Brother" practices?

This could be huge in near future! What do YOU think?
