On Sunday (Mar 24), the official Facebook account of the #Israeli embassy published a post containing claims comparing mentions of #Israel and Palestine in the #Quran.

The post sparked outrage in the country which has a small Jewish community (about 3,000 people, mostly Jews from Iraq), 15% of its residents are Muslim and [so far] has no history of hostility between the two communities.

The motivation for armed combat with others would require it be an act of State, not of religion.
The concept of "Jihad" would indicate the aggression is less of an intervention, but in fact an act to reduce ranks of other creeds, and to enlarge the aggressor's creed.
The prejudice on, and mongering of, violence within the tenets of the creeds would say you need to avoid allowing them to bootstrap, and cleanse their wrong doing as such.
This is where religions validate their violence by making their creed a State.
