The #web has always had "Events"; like clicks and keydowns, but you couldn't create your own at first. So #webDev did what it does and invented hundreds of ways to create custom events; #Angular bindings, #Signals, #Observables, #Rx Streams, etc.
ReactJS "Hooks" are just another form of this; they are just callbacks that are executed at certain times in a component lifecycle.
Thing is; we have #CustomEvent now! It's well supported since IE11 is gone.
I have been offered a choice between these two cards, and I'm not sure which one will perform better in linux at this point. If it was Windows I would just go with the Nvidia and call it a day, but the driver situation on Linux has me leaning towards AMD. Is the AMD the right choice?...
Today I don't have any F# bits as I was in a bunch of meetings so... Let's feature another F# library!
Today we have : Fsharp.Control.Reactive https://github.com/fsprojects/FSharp.Control.Reactive
If you like rxjs/rxjava/rxnet then this is a library to look after!
It enables reactive functional programming over observables and subjects, I personally love this library quite a lot ☕
In the past I've found #problems in #software, problems with #websites, with bureaucratic processes, some of which were significant, but they all pale in comparison to this one.
3/13 I have reported the issue to the company; I have asked them to acknowledge and take short-term steps to close the hole. I reported it after hours, so I have not yet received a response, although maybe they should be monitoring this address out of office hours due to the nature of the system.
I will not identify the company in the meantime, providing they address this in a #reasonable amount of time.
Nvidia 980 Ti 6GB, or AMD RX Vega 64 8GB?
