The Cat and the Canary (1927) - the gold standard for a haunted house movie, one of my favorite silent films. Director Paul Leni brings German expressionism to Hollywood, an excellent concoction. Slightly more title cards than you'd like, but altogether enjoyable even to someone who isn't a silent film buff.
The House on Haunted Hill (1959) - somehow feels even more antiquated than The Cat and the Canary even though it's come out 30 years later. Purposefully campy and goofy, and yet still offers some genuinely creepy moments.
Morticia's adoption day was yesterday (2019)! The shelter said she was around 7 years old (we wanted to adopt an older kitty and found this little stinker 😸). The vet said her bad eye was due to a fight or some older injury and that her night sight might not be that great. But she gets around just fine! She got lots of pets and of course lots of treats yesterday 🧡🖤
This Kickstarter project by Lonely Fox Studios, 'Beyond The Grave' looks like a cool spoopy adventure game. I really like the art style which reminds me of SNES graphics. Really hope this hits it's target. Good luck!
