If you’re playing #SuperMarioWonder, I do recommend using the #SNES controller. It takes a minute to get used to it but the D-pad is far superior to #NintendoSwitch Pro or Joycons.
Happy New Year! Here is my top 10 #videogames of #2023. There are a few games I wish I was able to play before years end like #AlanWake 2, #Viewfinder, and #BaldursGate 3. Perhaps they will be on next years. What's your top 10? What are you looking forward to this year?
Still have quite a bit to do (collect all Flower Coins, Complete All Challenges and get all badges and more) but completed the main game today! I found the final level to be pretty tough (ended up having to do the last few minutes of it as small mario!) but it was very fun! Liked how they had the iconic "press these button to defeat bowser" button be a part of bowser himself!
Started playing Super Mario Bros Wonder a few days ago but then stopped for a bit due to some health stuff but what I have played so far has been (pun intended) very wonderful and fun!!! Hoping to continue playing it today!
It's a very beautiful game but that in combination with the mechanics are also making this possibly slide it's way into my top five games ever!
Send heeeelllpppp , I’m #addicted.
Picked this up months ago but the performance on steam deck is so much better now and 1.0 just launched. Sunk in 12 hrs over the last few days 😅. #MyTimeatSandrock
It's 2023 but Nintendo apparently still thinks "accessibility" is a swear word or something. The controls configuration options are as laughable in #SuperMarioWonder as they were in TotK.
So I had to resort to a Clever Life Hack™ to pass some stages.
Wifey is playing Super Mario Wonder now, since last night, just kinda chilling and playing semi-slow. She's in world 2 and the game looks AWESOME. Definitely lots of co-op potential too, you can even play as different colored Yoshis or Nabbit (when you play as those, you don't get hurt unless you fall off a cliff, but you can't use powerups).
REALLY great looking game. Her theory is that it was originally a Kirby game and they skinned it Mario. It's very Kirby-like in some aspects. Which is never a bad thing!
@mrpablington for our shared game the BF and I are continuing #KirbyAndTheForgottenLand - since I beat the the original #legendofzelda im not sure what my next solo game should be. If I continue with Zelda I might skip Link's Adventure. If I'm being smart, I'd pick up where I left off in #soma but I'm also tempted to dig my backlog hole a bit deeper and order #supermariowonder
