I like monero and its working principle, especially since i'm from the EU, where you can't wipe your ass without first signing some KYC.
My question is:
Why do you think Monero is lacking implementation?
In my opinion it's hard to get monero (Localmonero or some Exchange) and even harder to spend it, especially once again in the EU where you can't have prepaid Monero Vida cards etc.
IMO: payments SHOULD implement the highest privacy standards at any cost. Not even your barman, your workmates or the members of the club you hang out SHOULD ever be able to infer what you own after interacting with you. That's the key feature.

That is intended behaviour since otherwise any request to view a post would've to literally query ALL comments from the OP's Server and -deferation or not - that would be incomplete.
Similar to if you were to build a #CurrencyConverter but you'd never integrate CoinGecko's #API or a different source and then wounder why you don't get 💶 EUR / € to :monero: / Monero / #XMR exchange rates.
Deferation is a post-request filter - like blocking - that doesn't
I was asked the other day what #cryptocurrency I’m still interested in even though the hype has died down.

I still tell people I prefer to be tipped and paid in Bitcoin or Monero when possible.

I was apparently the only person at #DEFCON who spent #monero at the Monero booth. So glad I brought my #XMR to #DEFCON31. Thats a memory I won't forget my first BTC purchase was hot sauce my first monero purchase was a jacket and badge for DEFCON.
@ii here are pictures of the #monero jacket I paid for in #XMR at #DEFCON31 and I was apparently the only one the whole convention who paid in monero. But I am so glad my first ever IRL purchase using Monero was at my first #DEFCON
