Weird : is there a way to use without knowing them?
For example: in an API to API communication I (hopefullu) need a password or token. Is there a way to let my application retrieve and use it, without be being able to know such password?
Or: I have a shared resource (e.g.: intranet page) that, for whatever reason, I cannot put under SSO. Can I let people access such resource with a password, without sharing it or even without letting them know it?

True. But point is: you, as builder of the service, will have to put the password in the code or somewhere.
What I wanted is that you also shall not know it.

The personal I'm using in office, a GMMK 1 TKL with Gateron Blues that I've bought in September, has something wrong.
The <K> key is somehow malfunctioning: more often than not, when I click it it's not sending the key or it's sending it twice only when I click it again. 😒
Luckily it's hotswap. I should have some spare switches.

I play with Linux distros in VM's a lot.

Today, I deleted two because I decided I'm not interested in tinkering and updating them for the time being (maybe again in 2 years' time):

Certo, io sono di parte, ho attivato SPiD da casa, a tutti i livelli, grazie al lettore e alla CNS. Ma sicuramente è un enorme e utilissimo servizio.

Probabilmente però all'italiano medio manca un pochino di cultura di base dell'informatica: tanti pensano che i computer siano delle scatole magiche o che so io... quindi non pensano neanche lontanamente ai problemi di privacy dei telefoni o alle password, ...

    I've just deleted my blog. As much as I really like the idea of keeping and maintaining a blog, I don't think I'll ever be that person unfortunately. For me, it just becomes an added stress, a commitment I'm unwilling to ever make. Sure, I could just post when I feel like it every few months or so (at best), but that kind of defeats the purpose.

    I've felt the same. I'm far from a regular poster, but I still like my spare blogging: it helps me see the things I'm thinking of, it helps considering different things or, while writing, see things in a different way.
    I even had (here, since I don't have a comment system) comments and replies from the few interested readers I have.
    I've never thought someone might be interested in my thoughts and things I write, but still someone is reading, and this makes me happy.
