BambiDiego,

Cigarettes, Alcohol, Gambling, Porn, Birdwatching, Hiking, Video Games, Blogging, Youtubing, Racing…

Absolutely all of these things can be enjoyed, abused, and everything in between. All of them can lead to problems and/or can be part of a fulfilling and happy life.

You are approaching this with “She’s sick and she did this, disgusting” rather than “she’s sick and this is a symptom of that, what a shame”

Unless you are this harsh to people who have problems with the other things I mentioned and more, then you should evaluate why this specifically bothers you, it may speak to a preconception you have from a place of privilege.

BambiDiego,

I didn’t disagree, I pointed out that you’re approaching this with contempt rather than empathy.

You’re right, but you’re not showing the world you’re right, you’re just showing the world you’re mean.

BambiDiego,

He’s still with you in every lesson, moment, and memory you shared. It’s not the same ever again, but it’s there.

BambiDiego,

Me, now: crying haha, Republicans more crying

BambiDiego,

Yes, trains!

Maybe in a very, very large circular track. A huge circle.

And fast. Super fast. Make them faster by making them lighter. Smaller. Super tiny. So light and fast.

A teeny, tiny, light train going super duper fast in a very large circle.

Sure hope it doesn’t smack into anything while going top speed. Or maybe it does, so long as we measure it.

BambiDiego,

You’re spot on, I no longer deal with said “veil of plausible deniability”

This is 100% how I approach all sorts of relationships in my life, not just romantic. That’s called direct and open communication.

I will straight up ask (politely) that someone clarify what their explicit stance is, if they refuse or try to play coy about it I simply let them know I don’t know where they stand and I don’t know what they want.

I’ve done this with bosses, siblings, my son, and my partner. I have grown to respect people much more because I understand them better and have also cut out some toxicity from my life that I didn’t know was eating away at my happiness.

BambiDiego,

Introspection is key. Are you actually nice or do you just think you are?

Would an average person describe you as nice? I’m not saying you should care what others think, I’m saying you can use what others say as a starting point, especially if it’s someone whose opinion you respect.

I don’t care if racists or sexists call me intolerant, but you can be sure that if my best friend who is a very sweet person said I’m being hateful then I would take that to heart and reevaluate my biases and preconceptions.

BambiDiego,

“Bandit Heeler has recently come under scrutiny to the allegations that he is ‘the bestest boy.’ More tonight at 7”

BambiDiego,

“Random door is now fused closed permanently 3km away”

BambiDiego,

“Why would you use Elvish for an earth-spell?? Dwarven is clearly the more appropriate language, especially if it’s an incantation”

“It’s fine like it is! It works, ok?”

BambiDiego,

CDPR also saw no place for a crunch culture in game development… Until they did

Disable tracking on Chevy Bolt 2019 (sh.itjust.works)

OnStar reports location and speed data to the car manufacturer. Sometimes they will sell this data to insurance companies to raise your premium, as several news stores pointed out a few weeks ago. I couldn’t really find an advantage to OnStar, (I have my phone to call emergency services) so I disabled it by pulling it’s...

BambiDiego,

Remember the smell at your parties? Imagine the smell here

(Not hating, I was there too, wouldn’t trade it for the world, but I would be ok with a little febreeze and Old Spice)

BambiDiego,

Turning off sticky keys is one of the first things I do after accidentally activating it during a raid and wiping the team.

BambiDiego,

Whoever was the guy that wrote the Breath of Fire 2 walkthrough I read when I was 12 was a godsend for me.

I was still learning English and his FAQ was so thorough and clear that I actually improved my vocabulary and grammar from using it.

BambiDiego,

It sounds like the post fits fairly well to your workplace, but at any rate I think the important part is that “respect” means different for different people and the core idea that some think there’s a difference incoming vs outgoing is problematic.

The whole core of “treat others as you wish to be treated” is this. It’s not about actions, it’s about intentions. It should be “treat others with the respect and consideration you wish for them to give to you”

BambiDiego,

BambiDiego,

Honestly it would have been fine if she tried using anything other than chunky peanut butter as lube, we all know poodles are chompers, not lickers

BambiDiego,

?? I feel like you’re jumping a handful of steps to reach that conclusion. This has nothing to do with whether the judge thinks it will stop him from committing a crime.

It’s pretty simple, don’t commit an obvious crime, especially in front of law enforcement.

BambiDiego,

And also smells like unchanged diaper shit

BambiDiego,

They’ll jail him aaaaaaaaaany day now
