Fantastic game of this afternoon! I won with my Orks, 71 to 56, against some nasty Salamanders, with the Dread Mob detachment (without a Stompa this time).

Awesome moments included me missing 10 shots hitting on 4+ with my Meka Dread, all my Meganobz and Big Mek dying to one round of Hellblaster shooting even with 4+ invulnerable saves, 2 vehicles also exploded, which is always fun, and my gretchin were massacred by a flyer in one volley, which is also always fun 😂

😷 I have a request for the fediverse

A person asked if I knew of anyone here who could provide covid information that is "regular easily digestable media to keep me up to date on the covid topic".

This person does not want research papers instead something that a layperson might understand is preferable.

@Snowshadow basically, to chime in, i feel like there's a big divide between people who are super pationate about these issues and people who think covid is over. I find myself somewhere in the middle which sucks because from the latter side i won't get any information and from the former side i mostly get nerdy infodumps that go right over my head. I have trouble getting into the topic. I have other pations i'm nerdy about but wish to not be left behind on such an important topic. I do care!

No, the bad AI product ruined itself and its company. Just because someone created a business, found funding and created a thing doesn’t mean they should get instant recognition, and a pass for crappy stuff.

Entrepreneurs aren’t your friends, they aren’t superior, they don’t deserve to be coddled. When they make sht products, they should be told that they made sht. MKBHD did their job.

Apparently, my school has raised an issue regarding my attendance at school (which I have tried to keep up as much as my mental health allows it), which will require me to prove using a medical certificate that I had some medical reason to not attend school those days.

Not having a Therapist which could give me such a medical certificate, they will probably fine me up to 1000€ (from what my limited research seems to suggest).

If I am lucky, I can get them to agree on a medical certificate from a normal doctor for the past ~2 weeks, but usually the fine is capped at ~1000€ and is increased with each day that you couldn't attend (which are a lot)

As such, as much as I hate to ask for this, I'd like to ask you to chip in support as neither I or my immediate family would be able to cover the costs.

This is urgent, because I do not know how much time is between now, and when they demand a fine.
Me having to pay a fine is pretty much guaranteed as I don't have medical certificates to back me up.

I got excited for a minute, seeing a seemingly legitimate email from @inkscape wanting to sponsor the channel, but then the sender sent me a link to a password protected PDF in a Dropbox, offering unreasonable sums of money (if I could charge 2500 USD per video, I’d be extremely rich by now), and a shady request for my payment details (which would be sent through an invoice normally).

Yep, it was a scam. Sad face. Fortunately I noticed it early!
