Crazy 49-49 tie in our Agricola rematch that was also tied on tiebreaker. Raphael had a crazy Freshman/Bread Paddle combo that let him play an occupation for free instead of taking the bake bread option but then that triggered the Bread Paddle allowing him to actually bake bread! It did distract him a bit allowing me to catch up.

Photos for iPhone in full-on troll mode today. Happily synced five screenshots. But apparently that was the limit. Two more screenshots needed a manual push.

I doubt we’ll see it, but I’d bloody love for iOS 18’s only new feature to be a switch in Settings to force your phone to actually sync to iCloud whenever you take a photo or image, rather than whenever it feels like it – which appears to be ‘not that often’.

Have iOS users really been unable to arrange their homescreens like this? Even the very earliest versions of Android let you place icons and widgets wherever you wanted.

Mind you, I remember diehard iFans declaring that the iPhone keyboard didn't need to change the case of letters when the shift key was pressed 😆

iPhone apparently shocked for the umpteenth time that, yes, I’d quite like the screenshots I just took for an article to sync to iCloud right now, rather than at some random point in the future when it decides it’s got enough battery charge to do so. (68% is apparently not enough. Although when it has 100%, that’s never enough either.)

Would pay actual money for a Settings override for this.

Been really enjoying playing Agricola again with old friends, this time on BGA. In the latest game I drew a weird set of occupations and for most of the game was a recluse hiding in my den spreading slurry on my vegetable patch and trying to keep up. In the end, I was only three points adrift and it was all terribly close with only four points separating all three players.
