Toby Keith was not Patient Zero for the absolute trash "bro country" that has taken over the FM airwaves in the last 20 years, but he was definitely a super spreader.

The Chicks (formerly the Dixie Chicks) who Toby Keith waged a personal war against during the Iraq invasion (for daring to call his 'Courtesy of the Red White and Blue' song a bit racist) made themselves some special shirts which I feel like are appropriate sentiment to share on this, the day of his passing.

@trixter That's awesome. I am hoping maybe I can find some weird rare games whilest I'm in Korea. I am a huge Sega Master System stan and I know it did pretty well there (not as well as Brazil - nowhere did as well as Brazil) but getting my hands on some latter day Korean Master System games would be awesome

@trixter I have avoided the Steam and Playstation sales, but I did pick up a bunch of stuff for Switch since I'm planning on taking that with me on my trip.

I also finally got around to setting up a Japanese account, since Japan has a ton of stuff that's only available in their market, even though it's in English, and their sale is even bigger on some items than the US sale is.

Sony wants me to not miss out on any of their holiday deals, but they have picked a selection of games to highlight that shows they clearly have no fucking clue who I am:

I have the YouTube app on my phone for when I feel random need to watch videos. Every time I use it, I get "the ick", as the kids say. They just push the Shorts so hard and they all have the really grating AI narration and/or clickbait content.

I'm sure that a million people have already spoken on this, but I feel like it has gotten so bad over the past year. It's a real shame because I used to enjoy mindless scrolling with YouTube on my phone. I wish that there was a good substitute.

@trixter @SeasonsChange The year is 2030, and there are only two types of videos left on the internet - 20+ hour long video essays by some guy named Quentin who looks like he's about to have a nervous breakdown, and 1/4th of a second long videos that you can accidentally watch 40 of before the app has even finished starting up. There are no in-betweens.
