Yesterday the jury was introduced to #RobertCostello, a #Giuliani associate & #lawyer who acted as a “back-channel” for #MichaelCohen to #Trump in the summer of 2018.

Yesterday, Costello behaved so atrociously on the witness stand that Juan Merchan cleared the courtroom to admonish him & the defense attorneys. Costello is due back on the stand

Personally, unless I learn otherwise my assumption about why people like Nikki Haley, John Bolton, Bill Barr, etc. publicly state that they'll not vote for Joe Biden is because the fossil fuel industry has paid them to say that.

Well, today starts our long Memorial Day here in my Appalachian hometown. It's always been a big deal for my family, but we pretty much call it Decoration Day and it's not focused on our soldiers at all unlike how it seems to play out in other areas of the country.

Anyways, I'll be off SM for the most part probably as I try to spend time with my MAGA family without it turning it into a coordinated attack on me and my ideology about our climate crisis etc.

Sometimes the #FossilFools will still try to lie about Germany's early decision to decarbonize suggesting that it has failed.

Germany has shuttered over a dozen coal-fired power plants.

"Several coal-fired power plants that were still on the grid as a precautionary measure over the last two years are therefore now superfluous and can be taken off the grid for good," Robert Habeck said.

If Congress wants to allow our weapons to be used on Russian territory than Congress should vote on it as a body and not just a small committee of them.

There's a lot at risk on these decisions that too many people are dismissing without access to classified briefings on the situation.

The U.S. does not have #Ukraine alone to think about and I'm not sure our population is ready to declare war and man up to put their lives on the line. I wish they were, but I don't know.

House Speaker Republican Mike Johnson told reporters Tuesday that his office notified Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer’s staff the day before that if the Senate leader does not sign the draft invitation for Netanyahu by Tuesday, he will proceed with inviting the Israeli prime minister to address just the House. The Speaker, however, noted that he would invite senators to attend the speech.

If you've been paying attention to that orange chump's first criminal trial than especially after today's circus in NY you might be thinking a conviction is a foregone conclusion and I don't blame you, but remember all it takes is one juror to end up in an acquittal like in the Rittenhouse case for example.

That doesn't mean that our system is entirely broken. It just means that it's not perfect just the same as everything.

Anyways, I sure hope this warning was unnecessary 🤞
