I just want to write some code, maybe make some music, maybe draw some pictures.

I don't want to be mad about blockchains, I don't want to be mad about GenAI, I don't want to be mad about terrible backfiring "think of the children" legislation, I don't want to be terrified about the rising tide of bigoted, racist fascism ending democracy in my lifetime.

I don't want you to have to be mad about all that either.

I wish the world would leave us all alone for a little bit.

Huh. I'm one stream away from becoming an affiliate on Twitch, because I streamed a bunch of silly gaming streams this month.

I avoided becoming an affiliate in the past because you used to have to agree not to multistream to other platforms, and I want to continue streaming to YouTube.

They removed that requirement recently.

I guess I should do a livestream sometime in the next few days and push it over the edge. 🤔

@notjustbikes It's an opportunity to orange pill some Twitch viewers (Twitchers?). I'd do it for a few Euros per month if I were doing something I enjoyed anyway.

But because of a botched and rushed enactment of a law, there is no power to remove him. He is obliged to be there.
