Ha ha, the vibrantly colored #ThaiDrama #ReadySetLove is just 6 episodes, but I am loving it so far.

The premise is similar to the "Y: The Last Man" comics, and women compete in a Hunger Games/Squid Game/Love Is Blind tv contest to get to marry one of the few eligible men. The 5 guys in the competition are caricatures of boy band members, with their own thematic colors and personalities.

No DEATH games (yet?), but there is corruption bubbling under the surface...

After all the smart-ness in #CaptivatingTheKing, I needed a #kdrama that didn't require any thinking. #ALoveSoBeautiful has the emotional and mental depth of an after-school special, and 20 minute episodes! Winning.

Except the ML is a total JERK to the FL. And the 2ML is thoughtful, supportive, considerate, kind, emotionally aware... exasperated sigh

It is a Korean remake of a #cdrama and ... I can tell?

30yos playing teens irritates me, though...

Digging into the weight algorithm for Microsoft Forms ranked questions, like a completely normal and not-unhinged human does.

It is NOT RCV (Ranked Choice Vote) nor Fibonacci. I've discovered (and confirmed) it is merely the reverse of how many options are voted on. 6 options means the top vote receives 6 points and the bottom vote receives 1.

Initial thoughts while watching the finale of #StreetDanceOfChina #SDC6 (ep 12) are:

• why are they not supplying Jay Park with formal translation? Van Ness had to translate for him at the beginning. MrThree had to translate for him during the post-performance interview...

• Jay Park was sick for the last few days and had to learn that choreography in just a couple hours before the show?! Damn, he is dedicated.

• Van Ness is just such a caring person. And looks awesome in hot pink.

On today, Martin Luther King Jr Day, I recommend we take a few minutes to hear MLK's own words with his own voice.

Here, he speaks about how the white moderate is more dangerous to Black folks than any white supremacist organization.

As a middle class, middle age, mid-west white woman, he is speaking about me and people like me, who prefer to preserve our own comfort over the lives and well-being of others.

Wow, this weekend's episodes 29 and 30 of the #cdrama #MysteriousLotusCasebook for the #MLCWatchParty were SO GOOD. The action scenes in ep 30 were exciting and fun to watch, and only slightly reminiscent of the classic 1960s live-action Batman and Robin TV series.

Hopefully non-spoilery image below. I had to watch this whole scene multiple times, it was so good.

Oftentimes I am mildly amused that YouTube and Facebook aren't quite sure what language I speak, which country (or continent) I'm in, and other personal details. (But sends me plenty of notifications for the music groups I care about! 🙏)

But when they serve up OCTOPUS pants that only fit on slender people? That's just plain unfair.

(I bought a similar pair with cats on them at the largest size they had, which fit as long as I didn't sit or bend. Or breathe. 😭)

I would like to get little stickers for my laptop keyboard (EN) to show what the keys are in Korean...

I can easily switch language keyboards on my phone, but have never tried it on a physical keyboard before...

I just figured out how to even switch between typing in English versus Korean... it would be nice to have indicators for what Hangeul letters I'm typing... 🤓
