It is so difficult tempering the tiny voice in the back of your head that wants to 'make it' and become huge when you know its because you just want out of a life you can barely tolerate.

19 days to a debut album release I realistically and rationally know will do nothing, and yet the tiny voice is desperate for it to be a way out of this current 'existing'.

for whatever reason, even though a lot of the time I feel like I am a single thought away from just packing it all in a giving up, I keep moving forward every day regardless.

    It's hard to find an audience for your music if you don't fit the mold and feed the algorithm. My music doesn't fit any mold and repels every algorithm it comes into contact with.     @etherdiver on a more serious note, I've noticed a disheartening disconnect between the number of 'favourites' and 'boosts' I get compared to the number of actual plays/subscribes and purchases I don't get 🤔

    I get that people mean well by doing those actions on mastodon, but they seem to be well meaning empty gestures if no-one is bothering to check the music out?
    If I boost something, its because I've made a deliberate effort to check it out and I've enjoyed it = boost.

    What I managed to do during lunch-break

    Figured out how the VLAN shit works on MikroTik switches toghether with a Unifi Router.

    A cable from the top floor to the basement (outside thou :mortysad: )

    Installed and mounted an AccessPoint

    Tested the network by playing two games of War Thunder

    Had some food
