Cadê a galera do compiuteres???? Queria uma ajuda

Minha placa de vídeo só tem saída HDMI e DVI e meu monitor é VGA, então eu uso um adaptador VGA/HDMI pra fazer a conexão. Só q desde sempre tem problema de imagem, especialmente depois de 40min de uso, quando o calor começa a bater ao redor da CPU (ou em dias quentes). A imagem não necessariamente cai, mas fica se tremendo ou piscando, impossível de enxergar. Geralmente, um ventilador ligado ao lado da CPU evita q isso aconteça (não sei pq), mas essa semana não adiantou, tá impossível usar. Só que quando eu conecto no HDMI da tv, ele funciona normal. Sem manha, sem preocupação com calor. Nada. Alguém sabe explicar?

@miugnutos @Kriptolix se vc comprar pela internet, por lei vc tem até 7 dias após o recebimento pra devolver, sem precisar justificar. Se vc tiver como ir a uma agência dos correios sem gastar dinheiro, vale a pena tentar comprar o cabo primeiro e devolver se não der certo. Só não joga fora a embalagem.

@thelinuxcast @BrodieOnLinux personally, for some reason I'm deeply afraid that changing my DE will break something in my OS. I never figured what things are dependent on the DE to work.
On the other hand, since I use Pop OS, I'll get COSMIC sometime this year

@humanista filosofia é difícil sim. Eu não sei se tá entre os sugeridos, mas que tal "O Mundo de Sofia"? É uma ficção feita pra ensinar crianças/adolescentes os princípios de filosofia, mas é ótimo de ler em qualquer idade

Tried committing a relatively large code base (20GB+) into Git without Git LFS, with the intent to use --filter=tree:0; unfortunately add/commit/push are still not performant enough to handle it.

The fact that 'git push' has no "continue interrupted push / recover from network disruption" is ultimately what stopped me.

@thomasfuchs even if it wasn't taught at school, those skills are kinda easy to teach and if even one of the people there participated in any scenario where barricading was relevant, they'd be able to guide and teach the others.
It's common sit-in protest stuff.

@elilla the Rebuild series of movies is wild to me because 1.11 was released when I was in high school and living with parents. The fourth (and final) film was released after I had graduated university (which I started "late" compared to my peers), was married, moved to a different state, etc.

@felipesiles o meio acadêmico basicamente destrói quem pratica ciência com humildade e honestidade. Quantidade é mais valorizada que qualidade. Dependendo da instituição e país, sua pesquisa tem que agradar bilionários senão não vai ter verba pra continuar acontecendo. Eu acho muito triste
