Here's this evening's casual astrophoto: Saturn in the western sky, with a bit of coastal haze. I believe that's Iota Aquarii to its lower right. I'd hoped to capture some of Jupiter's large moons, or the rings or Titan at Saturn, but that will obviously require clearer skies. For now, I like how obvious the golden hue of Saturn is compared to the purer white of Jupiter.

@isomeme It never ceases to amaze me that the reflection of the light of our sun of a planet so distant is bright enough to dominate the night sky. I can't get my head around that scale.

@glennf Put that with my old employer's parallel setup on their point of sale servers:

A licence key plugged into the parallel port, a Syquest SyJet external drive plugged into the back of the license key's connector, a dot matrix printer plugged into the drive's connector.

3 deep parallel connections = 80% out of box failure.

@gcluley I just use the reminder plugin on Wordpress. I can't speak to the effectiveness as I have no traffic, but I think it's a good idea.

    @dancinyogi I was incredibly fortunate. I learned in the 1970s in grade school because my handwriting was so poor. It has served me well.

    Every single person I speak with about the iOS keyboard says it’s becoming unusable – and thought they were the only one having issues. I’m talking, like, twelve professionals I’ve asked about it who have ranted about this like they are coming up for air.

    Even typing this post was incredibly annoying. Why is this happening and why is nobody covering it??

    I appreciate extra cute pets/animals/nature & uplifting content - especially right now. Trying to fight against dark depression monsters lurking & trying to pull me back into abyss that I worked for a long time to crawl out of. I don't want to slip back into that. This is my attempt to call out for help & support during dark time.

    Please understand if I am inconsistent on responses. I'm in a heavy traumatic state ATM & am having to force myself to eat/drink water to survive this dark time.

    @etherdiver Definitely need headphones for this, or all the volume your room can handle. I like the weirdness, but I need to listen a few more times because I was having trouble staying with the thread running through it but I think I was just a little disoriented. There's a lot going on there. I think I really dig it, but, like I said..disoriented.

    @msquebanh @isomeme agree 100%. Although, even if it isn't realistic, I think it's good to have some idealists out there pushing for their positions. I just don't necessarily want them to be fully successful.
