I don't think this image correctly describes what's going on.

The plastic (I assume plastic) connectors would be trying to UN-fold, stretching the string out. Not fold flat & collapse.

That was my point exactly. It has nothing to do with the string being "stressed out" and everything to do with it being stretched out (you could have done the same thing with a single piece of plastic. It simply looks more "confusing" using multiple staggered strips.)

is currently in recess, but as soon as they return on Oct 1, they should settle once & for all whether a president is above the law and can simply "pardon themselves".

B/c WE ALL KNOW T**** is running for office simply to keep himself out of prison, and if he wins, WILL attempt to pardon himself. But if that option is suddenly off the table, I'd be interested in how enthusiastically he continues to campaign.

I doubt even THIS Right-Wing court would rule a POTUS is "above the law". 🤔

NO ONE sued Dobbs. No one even asked her to make a Gay Wedding website. She simply challenged a law that said, "if asked, she'd have to accept the job."

    Trump gets a lot of millage complaining about:

    • electric stoves
    • meat alternatives
    • low flow toilets and showers
    • CFC free hair spray (he's still mad we fixed the ozone hole)
    • LED light bulbs (which are objectively better than incandescent)
    • masks
      etc.

    But it's not just one old man's weird fixation, he's people really relate to these complaints.

    Some know-it-all do-gooder wants to lecture you, make you do something a little differently. It chafes. I almost understand-- 1/

    Told an ARMED mob to "march to the capitol" after being told "the mags" were reducing his crowd.

    When I was in college, the Med class was in an an auditorium w/professor on stage. The lesson? "Bodily Fluids".

    Class erupted in laughter as she quickly slunk out of the room realizing what she just admitted to. As she left, the prof w/o missing a beat:
