The road between Marib and Sanaa in Yemen has been opened by officials in Marib, but the Houthis still refuse to open it the other way and are stopping people and telling them they'll have to use desert roads. Houthis like it when aid and other goods can't be delivered.

The black line is controlled by the Houthis. Instead of letting people travel on asphalt between Sanaa and Marib, the Houthis are forcing people to travel for hours on unpaved desert road (the red line).

Palestinians deserve specific advocacy as human beings with the right to dignity. Mashing all issues into one does them a disservice.

If this is the world view one takes, it is then not much of a stretch to say that the biggest obstacle to progressive action is Jews. Or, if you want to use more dated German vocabulary, “internationale Finanzjudentum”

This footage has been making the rounds again because Syrians are trying to get people to see what the Assad regime does to Palestinians in Syria.
This was in Damascus in 2013; regime forces rounded up Palestinian refugee men, accused them of having Hamas ties, shoved them into a pit, and then shot them.
