@9to5Mac with password crackdowns and regular price increases, the need for physical media is way too strong. I will not give a movie or series any of my attention unless it's available on physical media, which I buy then rip to my NAS. Streaming services are the new cable, and no one liked the cable experience.

@kingu as far as I know, yes. I remember some of the early articles mentioned it.

But I think the deal was that Humane would have full unrestricted access to user data that they would share with the carrier. In other words, a privacy nightmare.

@Crazypedia I feel you there. I was pretty good with math, then a head injury screwed that up for me. Rather than helping, my math teachers just failed me. I had to relearn math on my own, but I can't seem the numbers in my head anymore.

If what I just heard about how much the rent is for the unit next to me is true I have the suspicion our rent is about to go up yet again. And to keep up it will have effectively trippled in the 3 years we've lived here. Keep in mind we live in a heavily rural area and still rent is going nuts because landlords are greedy shits.
