I can't get over the king gizz shows this weekend. They blew my fucking mind.

I haven't felt like this about a band since Phish in the late '90's-early 2000's. They are completely at the top of their game. I can't imagine what the next 20 years hold for this band.

Little update on the cannabis seed starts! Been a cool and damp spring in Humboldt. These photos show the power of a greenhouse for seedlings: plants absorb food, water and sunlight during the day. They grow at night. Cool nights slow the growth of all these annual plants. Tomatoes/peppers no different! Photo on left, seedlings left on porch, no cover. Seedlings on right have been in a simple greenhouse. Hope everyone is off and growing! Remember, It’s just a plant, it’s not that hard!

You know what big electricity companies, authorities and lobbyists REALLY fear? That with (hyperlocal) solar, wind and a bit of storage capacity (batteries, hydro and yes, the batteries in EV) we can turn a lot of places/small villages/city quarters into autark zones, where households can get electricity effectively for free, with maybe a low flatrate to keep the infrastructure humming. A local, federated grid along the "help your neighbours" principle.

@mrcompletely I can’t stand VanGumby on any level so I’m not sure. Butler has no lift and no ups so I’m guessing his foot/ankle hampering him. He and Bam really let the team down on a night the other guys were solid. I mostly find it remarkable that when the heat were shooting well and winning, it was a non-stop soliloquy about their undrafted players. Last night, the low basketball IQ, play of Strus cost of them the game. Not a word about his draft status from the gallery.

@TonyStark I’m struggling with the fact California has two senators. Same as South Dakota. And one is well past her retirement age. It’s frustrating, and as you state, not set up well at all. The idea of expanding SCOTUS kinda frightens me even more. What happens if we expand then end up with more of the Trump federalist society appointments?! 😩

@TonyStark I ponder moving from California to a purple state. My vote feels a little trapped / useless here. I’ve never voted for a republican on any level. California, the state, is a mess. Federally, We only have one active senator.

@TonyStark @mikej Close friend has a MAGA family. His brother finally removed his Trump stickers from his truck. Parents are still all in. They live in California. I shudder to think what some communities around the country feel like. My family has all passed away or lean strong democrat. Haven’t had any uncomfortable interactions with family. Truly blessed for that.

People voted for Trump in spite of the deleterious red flags, his open misogyny, his credible accusations of sexual assault. His multiple bankruptcies and morally bankrupt nature. Ima blame the folks that voted for him. Blaming Green Party voters let’s his supporters off the hook.
