It's perhaps telling and less than complimentary of me that I'd much rather have a conversation with a dog or Google Bard than I would with an actual person.
I'm not out to cause offence, but additionally, I'm completely unapologetic too.
I think it's because A.I. and dogs only want to help, and neither of the two ever judge me.
Is The Outer Worlds any good? I've actually wanted to play it since before it was released. It's currently free on Epic (Go grab it, I guess), but the install requires like 60GB and I wanna know if it's "Delete crap to make room" good or just "When you get around to it" good.
@Gwendolyn I think in instances like this, it's often really valuable to watch a play through on Youtube.
It's a heavily storied FPS with strong characterization. I think it was very well received, from what I remember, but I've played very little of it so I can't offer much more than that.
Maybe buy yourself some extra storage for Christmas and then you can install and play it later?
I've been following this game a while but 80% off. That's cray cray!

I don't know everything, but seemingly, Outward is an extremely challenging RPG. It harkens back to an older RPG style like Morrowind. No quest markers and no quarter given. I also love that death isn't always a respawn. Sometimes you'll be captured and forced to work down mines, for example. Even I, a jaded gamer, am a little excited to play it.
@WanderingInDigitalWorlds Why not. Get the mod, it's a single player game, no reason you can't customize it to enhance your own experience. I'll try it vanilla first, but mods are always worth keeping in mind
I'm going to post to the subreddit now, see if there are any suggested QoL mods worth trying. Maybe do the same?
@WanderingInDigitalWorlds Yes. I don't have that problem. I've been so desperate for a new game I can play on my own, so this has come at the right time for me.
As a gamer, I feel like some sort of pariah, sitting on the outskirts of the circle of gamers huddled around the figurative gaming campfire having lots of fun.
No matter how much I look, I cannot find the game that gets me excited or holds my interest.
There are a couple of games on my wish list that give me hope. I've high hopes for The Wayward Realms and Worship looks very interesting but beyond that, nothing. I've loads of games on my wish list but they're all long shots.
@WanderingInDigitalWorlds Yeah. I'm going to go look through my memory for old gems. I've revisited a lot of them, but there are no doubt some that I've somehow forgotten.
A clip just popped up on YouTube and I've been reminded just how good that film actually was. Put it on your to-watch list. It is, as I say, rather splendid.
