Is this consistent? I.e. if you play the same videos now, do they still give the same errors?

Many of the menus in Vivaldi got a design update.
If you prefer the old design, then you can enable Compact Layout from Settings > Appearance > Menu.

Today I tried to open a site, https://www.gay.it/gianni-morandi-lucio-dalla-era-innamorato-di-me-non-la-metterei-cosi, with @Vivaldi - that I normally use. The browser started to crash trying to open it. I wasn't able to use it anymore, until, in one of the first moments of opening, before crashing, I managed to close the site's tab (my Vivaldi normally opens on the last tab used in the last lession).

We have been trying to find reproduction steps for one blank web page issue.
In your case, does the whole screen go blank or just the web page area, while leaving the browser's toolbar's visible?

We released a new version of Vivaldi on Android yesterday. If you haven't already, please update the app and keep an eye out for the issue. Personally, I haven't seen any blank pages recently, so hopefully the bug is gone.
@oliver Yes, Vivaldi on iOS is Webkit based for now. We're keeping an eye on Apple and their plans going forward, but we'd prefer to maintain only one engine globally.
Trying to set up Kagi.com as default search engine in Vivaldi. Pasted in the session link from Kagi in the search settings of Vivaldi but whenever I type in Vivaldi’s search field or search (Ctrl + T and term) I’m just redirected to Kagi.com, no search results show up? #kagi#search#vivaldi

Check our internal Task Manager (Vivaldi menu > Tools > Task Manager or Shift + Esc) to see which tab, extension, web panel, etc. is causing the extensive resource use.

It is rather complicated. 😅 As I've understood it (and I might be wrong), the setting takes into account the available RAM your machine has. Then it also checks how frequently you interact with the tab (e.g. a tab you check once a day should be hibernated a lot sooner than a tab that you check regularly). Also tabs that play audio, update frequently (e.g. mailbox), include forms, etc. are kept active for longer.
So some tabs maybe be hibernated after 10 minutes while others after a few hours.
But we do recommend keeping the Automatic option enabled. :tony_normal:
