I watched the Vampire: Bloodlines 2 extended gameplay trailer; I'm not feel particularly confident that The Chinese Room was the right studio to develop this game. There seems to be glimmers of hope based on the writing so far within the trailer.

However, I'm reserving interest or dismissive disinterest until reviews from reviewers I trust are out in the world! A trailer is not enough to make a full judgement on the matter of a game, it could truly be amazing, if sadly limited.

There are times when one needs to break through a self-roadblock; In my case, it's a damn iOS blog post that is causing me untold amounts of bewilderment.

As I wanted to communicate my experience, but the words are jumbled in a puzzling array of thought clumps. I think the hurdle is caused by me actively trying to make it a conversational style post. I struggle with that but want to improve.

Once I get my paycheck, it's going to be time for Don't Starve...I've wanted to immerse myself deeper in that survival game for a while. I'll also need to get some Amazon shopping done!

It's finally time to get the French Press, Thermometer, and Coffee Bean grinder I've been eying for a while. After that, I'll find a good local source of whole coffee beans.

Backed up all my important data but I need to go into BIOS and make sure the boot order is accurate otherwise it could cause issues for a Linux installation. Secondly, UEFI is turned off already because I was Linux curious and waiting for a good time to switch.

Most of my games are already Linux compatible but a chunk of them are not, SunnySide and Coral Island are rebuys on console. Xbox Series S and my Switch are going to help me access other gaming titles!

I went to Tallgrass Taphouse and had a great Banh Mi, 2 Apple Ciders, and wrote for a bit...That turned out quite nicely. I still have some inspiration bubbling up from the depths of my brain!

I only got my vaccination for the flu because my pharmacist is fighting for other vaccinations to be correctly covered by my insurance (most of the time they are).

He's thinking about telling the press about the issue and having it be a major embarrassment for my state. I hope he does!

Since Crunchyroll doesn't have a sane system for downgrading the cost of one's plan; I had to unsubscribe and wait for the current premium subscription to lapse.

Today their having server issues on the day I wanted to resubscribe. Never change, Crunchyroll. ROFL

At least I can now focus on getting ready for my few errands this morning, instead of getting lost in anime!

Going out to eat is a rare thing for me as while I have the cash for it's often my social battery which is insufficiently charged most days! Culver's is a new burger chain from Wisconsin and I've heard good things about it.

The Harvest Veggie Burger is really good! (I got my food while typing!). Its one of the few places that uses chickpeas as the bulk of this patty! Wisconsin cheeses, portobello mushrooms, roasted corn, peppers, and spinach are the other ingredients. I'll come back.

To start today off right...I'm watching anime...A classic by the name of Magic Knight Rayearth!

I loved the manga and it's an easy watch...Especially after having watched something so heavy like Attack on Titan!

Then it will be time for work, at least I'll be getting time and a half.

A thing I forgot about #xxxHOLiC is that all the characters have long arms and legs...It was one of their design idiosyncrasies back in the day. Literal noodle people but the plot was often interesting enough to ignore this design.

Oof, I'm really eyeing that Apple One subscription...The individual plan would save me money as I was planning on getting Apple Music and TV+ anyway. Everything else is a bonus.

I'd probably end up with close to 40 dollars in subscription based expenses as a result. That's a relatively easy cost to bear. As I plan on curbing my impulsive spending! I've constructed a working budget of all my mandatory expenses. I've found that I can afford this. 😁

I have been listening to this conspiracy theory about how the FEMA alert test was all a ploy to start the zombie apocalypse. The silliest part that the COVID-19 vaccines were "laced" with a Marburg virus which could be activated with the 5G network.

The people who wrote this work of fiction should be writers that could publish this rubbish and make loads of money! ROFL

I'd never believe it, but I sure as hell would let out a hearty chuckle from reading about it.

I recently joined lemmy.world as a Reddit alternative. I found there was a recent hubbub, to summarize: Beehaw users were getting harassed from three instances. Those instances are lemmy.world, sh.itjust.works, and lemmy.ml. As a result, Beehaw defederated all three, but were also engaging the moderators of each instance to resolve said issue. I'm going to leave lemmy.world and go to Beehaw, setting up a recurring donation. #today

This morning, I talked myself out of installing #linux as I thought of all the scenarios which I would need Windows. It irked me quite a bit, Dual Booting is certainly an option; as I have invested a large chunk of my digital life on Windows, I would spend a lot of time on the Windows partition because so many programs are easier to run on that OS.

Investing in an iMac or Mac Mini would be a safer option. As I wouldn't be using Windows, I could keep access to my iPhone troubleshooting tools.

After a month and a half, I finally used my French Press to brew a cup of coffee! It was so freaking tasty; the clean-up was even easier.

I don't know why the procrastinator in me interfered with having coffee in the morning. However, that will not be the case moving forward. Bean juice for brekkie from here on out!

ROFL I try to change two things about my Nvidia account...It sets me into a series of failures.

An account being required for basic graphics driver updates is totally unnecessary! I'll go back to manually checking the Nvidia driver page because I can't be arsed to deal with this bullshit anymore. It's one less headache for me to bear.

It's vexed me to the point my writing time was infringed upon unnecessarily. I can't calm back down to think about story writing. 😬

Finally watching the backlog of Attack on Titan anime that I let build up over several years! It's an incredible anime, thematically stunning. I love it as the way each side in the overarching conflict is portrayed has been done well.

I may finish every episode during my days off! Can't wait to know the conclusion after all this time...

I'm invested in Chihayafuru, it's an anime built around a Japanese game called Hyakunin Isshu Karuta. A complex card game that uses one hundred poems to create a matching style card game. A poem card is read, and a player must grab a card that has lines from that read card. I am interested in odd anime!

I completed Phase 5 of Expedition 12: Omega this morning, it only took me two hours! I claimed all my rewards, changed my look, and this freed me to create more bases on various worlds; I need some resource collection hubs for easy breezy stocking of my resources.

Sadly, the S-Tier Freighter which I found during this expedition didn't transfer over; I can always find a new one in my normal save! I have units to spare for purchasing a new one.
