In black and white, textures and lines stand out more. I like how shiny the metal on the cup is and how the lines of the stems change as they pass from water to air.

Last summer, I had about ten zinnia plants growing in a corner of the front yard. It was fun to sit under them and watch the butterflies.

Space carnations or backyard blooms? These flowers are hanging out against a bright sky, with a little lens flare acting like a mini sun. Black and white makes it kinda mysterious, like it could be another planet or just a cool shot of Earth.
