I upgraded to @OmniFocus v4 and it’s terrible. I know it’s mostly Apple’s awful UI framework but Omnigroup must have know how bad it is at some point. It seems we have forgotten decades of UX knowledge. The same UI is never going to work on a desktop and a phone

One thing that's wild to me is that we've gotten fairly solid at building distributed systems that are resilient, workable, and fairly decently designed... As soon as they hit a certain amount of scale, and only then.

So much shit out there just gets slapped together with every single cloud scale mega-cluster service and tool like its a limited edition box of candies that's going out of stock

How does emscripten/emirb/WASM handle embedding other Ruby libraries, or even C extensions? Would it be possible to precompile a version of emirb with various gems pre-loaded?

@postmodern I don’t think so. It’s not like docker where you bundle an environment. It’s just another compilation target like X86 or ARM64
