@tdarb Very interesting read. One thing I noticed missing was the cost of Lawna, great name by the way. I went to the website and I believe it is $4,200 USD correct? Which is one dang expensive lawn mower. Plus where is the real specs, such as does Lawna have the ability to mulch and adjust cutting height? Can you set alternating cutting pattern?

@tdarb Oh okay, so about $3,780.69 CAD then. Ahh well that sounds good, mulch is a must for myself. Mmm, I still say though that is one dang expensive lawn mower, but either way quite cool. Heck if I was in a position to afford it I may be tempted to try it out.

I'd like to give a quick shoutout to @clarkesworld. They've been getting seriously hammered by a lot of issues, one after another, the most recent being spam AI submissions, and are working as hard as they can to maintain their ideals despite the growing difficulties in this ecosystem.

    I’ve been trying to make a point of using fewer brand names in my everyday conversation. For example, saying “Cola” instead of “Coke” or “Pepsi”.

    @benjaminhollon Trying to de-brand is a tough one since it is on a social level. A good example I've noticed is Kleenex which should be facial tissue or tissue.

    I’ve noticed that I haven’t actually learned much while on Bluesky. I’ve been entertained, annoyed, and flummoxed, but I’m otherwise not gaining much from it so far. Maybe that’s what Bluesky is for?

    @knova @bitwarden @kev It's not that hard to self-host, I will be making a post and video about how to do this with Bitwarden.

    I feel we need to move away from always in the cloud to optionally in the cloud E2EE during transfer/rest and be available offline.

    If you use Aurora Store to fetch apps from Playstore, the search isn't working any more.
    As a workaround you can search on play.google.com in a browser. Then share the URL to the app Linkbox. In Linkbox you can then open the link with .

    Got paged for a high severity incident at 2:30 this morning, which thankfully took less than an hour to resolve. Standard work day has started with my first meeting coming up in 15 minutes. Production deploys scheduled for tonight, which is a Friday, which is never a recipe for disaster, right? 🙄

    I'm just going to go curl up in a ball in the corner now.

    Top down photo on a table of three A4 sheet of paper and my sketchbook (with a sticker Pepper&Carrot on it). The sheets shows the template of my comic workshop, and two examples of comic in three panels done with ballpen. First comic: Carrot is about to receive a book on the head, but the book is magical and fly away. Second comic: Pepper tries to bring a caldron to the cave. She unfortunately falls in the void outside of the stairs with it. Fortunately, the caldron transforms into a parachute and smiles.
