At 1137 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was
located 4 miles northeast of Tiawah, moving east at 35 mph.

@MsMerope But yes, that would be #1 on my list of "bad stuff that could happen in 2024" list (for folks who don't live in hurricane areas). And, globally. #2 is super-crazy-hurricanes level Texas, Louisiana, or Florida. #3 is H5N1 hops from cows to humans and then it's all bets off. #4 is western wildfires, but that is an assumed risk; that said, a lot of the flammable stuff caught fire in the last 8 years or so, so less fuel. But heatwaves are #1.
