  • Left 3 hives were fine with the weeding, the fourth hive decided they were PISSED at all the weeding, so we abandoned clearing around that particular one after cursory weed removal. They decided they'd try some stinging, LOL. (good suit, so no issues... but definitely backed off after that.)

Only Fat Squirrel 1 & 2 are manning the rail this morning, with community bird group taking advantage of some sort of buggy feast in the clover pockets on the front lawn. Nice and cool open doors morning. May go foraging for new reading materials downstairs, but am probably on kitchen detail this morning with some sort of clear soup that will take advantage of the ridiculously large bok choy the grocery people substituted for “baby bok Choi”. Have a GREAT Saturday!

@Heliograph Nope, bees all go home at night! In fact, if you are outside a hive with a flashlight and they start flying towards you, you turn off your flashlight and they fall to the ground instantly.

These are straight out of the iPhone 15 Pro Max from Greensboro, North Carolina. It’s very hard to see the here with the naked eye but point the phone and shoot and WOW!

And the last question: I was riding earlier this week, and had just lubricated my chain, and had some very quiet tires on the bike I was riding. My pedaling felt like it was seamlessly converted to motion, with no clinking or rattling or any other sound. This is not usually the case 😅
