@jon, yes, but actually these: they have an extra bar to prevent 1) lock/chain falling to the ground when, 2) bicycle being stolen when one of the legs is detached from the ground (especially important if the rack is attached to the pavement with screws).
A lot of things went wrong on this train, but the ČD/JLV @diningcar didn't disappoint. As always, great coffee, and while they had no payment terminal, they were happy to accept payment by a SEPA bank transfer.
What's the lowest amount you've paid for something using a credit card?
Went to the market the other day and paid for a £2 punnet of fruit using a credit card. Guy was running Square on his phone, showed me the screen, I tapped, done.
I remember when everyone was £10 minimum for card payments, even in large shops. Now sole-traders can take instant payment for low value amounts. Brilliant!
I removed the duplication in the install command where dependencies were listed once as being installed and once in "the following additional packages will be installed"; now we have
"Installing:" for manual installs
"Installing dependencies" for automatic installs
I stole this from another package manager.
But this means installing plasma-desktop now fits into my full screen terminal window, as you can see in the picture (if you can see pictures).
Ultimately, DB cannot have it both ways - either DB Navigator plays a quasi social function in public transport in Germany - so must sell any train ticket (even non-DB ones)
Or we see what tools the market can build - and we go for an open data model, inc. data on live running - and whoever builds the best product wins out
But for the moment DB is refusing both of these routes
@jon@nordkommission, I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re refering to as Mastodon, is in fact, Fediverse/Mastodon or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Fediverse plus Mastodon. Mastodon is not a social network unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning federated network made useful by the ActivityPub, ActivityStreams and vital components comprising a full social network.
@juliank, right, I don't use derailleurs, probably that's why. I just adjust the tension when the chain starts rattling. The tolerances are more forgiving.
I can make and receive calls on https://voice.google.com/ - but it seems the only #Android app is part of "Workspace" and requires a subscription in the UK.
Is that right? Is there any other way to make or receive Google Voice calls on a phone if you're in the UK?
