Weird that we can't explain a few kubic meters heavy radioactive waste from the NL each year but somehow we can justify pumping our Atmosphere full with toxics each day with our burning engines

"Oehhh all things radioactive are soo scary, we can't setup our grandkids with that" is what they say

But apparently they are totally fine with ruining the climate and expel toxic next where you breath

Until we have something better like fusion we should stick with fission also, but what do I know!🤷

@stux nuclear is 5 to 10 times as expensive as wind. For the same amount of money, you can plant three offshore wind farms in different locations (Scotland, Portugal, Norway?) plus the infrastructure to get it here. You end up with much more cheap energy, no dependency on uranium countries (Russians, Americans, Chinese?) and way, way more decent jobs. Just sayin.

Past weekend our guest crashed my home server twice when he tried to connect his Switch to our TV :bloblaugh:

It uses an external SSD for storage and he kinda unplugged random stuff while knocking down the drive :blobderpy:

I know it’s the fault of my crappy setup but still! C’mooon :flan_laugh:

I just learned there was a Linux version in the past that was sold for 49.95 $ as "Lindows"

Microsoft even sued them, and nowadays it's sold as "Linspire"

(don't think it has to be said, but please don't buy that crap❤️ Linux is and should be free)

@tagesschau mein Tesla fahr ich jetzt über fünf Jahre, es hat mit 220.000km bisher nur einmal Wartung gebraucht für Filter und Klima Anlage. Weiterhin Reifen und Scheibenwischerblätter jede 70.000km. Ich hab noch Garantie auf Batterie und Antrieb bis 2026. Fährt wie neu. Warum soll ich eintauschen?

EV‘s haben eine längeren Lebenszyklus. „Jede drei Jahre eintauschen“ vonwegen Störungen und Wartungskosten ist Unsinn
