It's doing the following instead.

@siderea wow, that looks horrible. Why would one not use CityMapper for transit routes anyway?
Google Maps was already the worse solution, they just went steps backwards. Yeah, a product manager or product owner should have familiarity with the use cases...

@urda @cwensel plus, there are ways to deploy scaler policies that would be biased towards "spot if you can, but premium if you must" container blends.

Or scheduled policies if you have "must not fail this specific day" plans

(Wish ALB/NLB+ECS had scale to zero for when you can tolerate the odd 30-s latency, e.g. nonprod or day-mostly usage profiles, but this may be a very different profile to yours and maybe that is possible)

What apps are you using to access Mastodon? Are they free? And would you recommend them to others?

And on Windows and Linux are the apps significantly better than the Mastodon advanced web interface for you?

(I know the Mac / iOS app environment well already)

@jon amen to all of this, including "Europatakt in 2033 or an effing good reason why not in this or that MS" (but your #6 and #7 would make a "Kerneuropatakt" infectious in practice, which would be great. Get DE-AT-CH who are good at this kick this off, and Eurocontrol neighbouring networks provide an incentive to align anyway?)

#4 lots of devil in the details. Would need to find really good criteria to define what is a "valid" connection in a way that leaves no room for foot-dragging. \

@jon @Dasy2k1 yeah there are a few droplets of signal, like in the first 200m past the first 50m after St Pancras, and then a couple hotspots which you whiz by in a few seconds each.

Apparently British telcos fail to understand the concept of "antennas in a tunnel" or "cell coverage in Kent".

It's slightly less shitty (but still a lot) using 4G, but not by any appreciable much.

C'est vraiment n'importe quoi l'électricité chez moi. J'ai du jus sur le grille pain et dans le lave vaisselle. Je viens de vérifier avec un tournevis testeur et j'ai des fuites de courant. Je crois que je vais être obligé de faire revenir l'électricien qui était déjà passé régler un ou deux trucs zarbi. Et dire que l'ancien proprio était élec de formation. Achetez pas les jeunes, c'est que des factures derrière.

Asbestos overuse plagues old French rolling stock. And it gives a "get me out of secondary market for free" card to SNCF

But France and Spain - that don't really do through tickets - have more of their populations happy about through tickets than Austria and Germany that generally do through tickets very well… 🤷‍♂️

This - I presume - is people not knowing what a through ticket (with passenger rights) actually is?
