Sorry all. The Mac build stopped working because we didn't push an update out for awhile. Just a TestFlight thing. New build is out and should be working again if you update.

Also we are getting closer to releasing Ivory v1.4 for iOS and finishing up a few final things for the Mac App Store release. We appreciate your patience on this!

@blake @lothus I also haven't changed anything since I joined the program pre-Elon, and I was totally fine under that regime. This just seems like a super lame way to communicate with its creators (granted, I no longer consider myself one on Twitter anyway).

@CalmlyBallistic I wouldn't impugn @lopatto's character without evidence (but that's just me). The strength and resiliency of the social web should be that it allows for all kinds of different spaces to exist — some that are safe for most people and some that are definitely not.

The Mastodon network isn't monolithic and shouldn't be, and to @lopatto's point — the default Mastodon.social does give a rather stuffy vibe, perhaps in response to the rough and tumble or the Twittersphere.

@caseynewton They haven't updated the Twitter for Mac app since before Elon took over yet they've made big changes to the API.

Guessing there are some severe memory leaks due to unimplemented changes downstream in this abandonware.
