Sunak takes a "day off", and this is what he comes up with.

Tory twattery. Might appeal to the 80-year-olds, but it's not going to win them any votes in the 18-25 age group. Or anyone who isn't likely to die in the next decade...

And Labour deserves to be punished for being Tories By Another Name. At least in Scotland, we have an alternative to vote for… if some people wouldn’t be so bloody feart.

They now don’t want to be part of the single market in Europe and it’ll deny the people of Scotland a choice over its own future. That’s not change, that’s the very same thing that we have at the moment.”

In Scotland, we have a real choice. FFS, use it.

Labour reject EU offer of 'free movement for under-30s' | The National

Unfuckingbelievable.

“A Labour government would seek to improve the UK’s working relationship with the EU within our red lines.”

But there’s the problem, right there. There is very little of any practical, useful improvement in the working relationship with the EU that can be made while sticking rigidly to those “red (wall) lines”. And it will do nothing for our relationship with the EU to dismiss friendly overtures like this out of hand.

UK governments of all political hues are always telling us that London is the “great engine of our economy”, and how much money it makes for the UK.

If that’s the case, why does London consistently attract more government spending per capita than most other parts of the UK? If London is so bloody brilliant at making money, why does it need so much from the taxpayer? Just sayin’…

decembr14,

@JackTheCat
Could be worse. I was once on holiday in Portugal with a group of guys from a club. Two of them returned to the hotel after a walk, went up to the room they were sharing on the second floor, and found their key cards wouldn’t open the door. They went down to reception to complain. Receptionist looked at their key cards and said, “That’s your hotel next door, gentlemen.”

Crazy thing is that the interiors of the hotels looked nothing like each other... it's a mystery how they walked through the building without realising that. They hadn't even been drinking! Anyway, they never got to live it down.

What is currently going on in the HoC is unfuckingbelievable.

Get Hoyle's fat arse out of his comfy chair and get him to the House to explain himself.

A total disgrace. Did Hoyle never consider the possibility of the government withdrawing its amendment, and the effect that would have?

Not surprised the SNP walked out. You know something is wrong with the process, when Tory members are agreeing with the SNP.
