A recent photo of my sketchbook, still training with ballpoint pen directly, a cruel training. But I am beginning to get a better ability to imagine perspective grids without tracing them, and I can even begin to plan full-page compositions. It takes a while to build these new skills, but they are worth it.

Pamiętacie przygody skrzata które rysowałem rok temu?
Niektóre z tamtych obrazków wylądowały potem w kalendarzu.
Od tamtej pory zdążyłem dopisać do nich tekst.
Skrzata nazwałem Bolko i taki też tytuł nosi moja mała książeczka.

Tutaj prace nad tytułem. Na obecną chwilę okładka już jest jednak gotowa, a ja próbuję poskładać tekst i ilustracje tak, żeby się wszystko nie rozjeżdżało.
Na razie (niedługo) rzecz będzie dostępna jedynie dla subskrybentów newslettera.

W przyszłości chciałbym „Bolka” udostępnić w sieci za przysłowiowy grosz.
Nie mam pomysłu gdzie, poza informacją na swojej stronie i wysyłaniem na żądanie, co pewnie poskutkuje zerową ilością wysłanych egzemplarzy :D Macie lepsze pomysły?

    The evil queen, the evil mother. The one who can't stand the time of her beauty passing.

    In the brothers Grimm version I own the queen asks „Mirror mirror tell me...” there's no wall mentioned so I decided to go with Heather Pollington interpretation which is very #symbolic for our times.

    Thankfully the whole story ends up good (ups did I spoil it to anybody? :P) and she finally wakes up to the reality where she's joined by the man worthy of her.

    This is where I finished painting today. There are things to correct as the whole thing was a huge jump into deep water for me :D

    I'm planning on continuing this as a series as well. But this is really a paint eating project and some of my paints are already much closer to finished than full.
