J'aurais bien aimé avoir un mec quand même.

Et j'entends, je vois, je lis les copines avec le leur, et jamais de la vie je supporte le quart du dixième (le quarantième donc) de ce qu'ils leur font subir ni des compromissions qu'ils les obligent à accepter.

Est-ce que je suis plus heureuse qu'elles? Certainement pas.
Mais au moins j'ai pas toute cette fatigue mentale là et cette tristesse du truc insoluble pour l'éternité. Je pourrais pas gérer ça, j'ai d'autres charges mentales, et d'autres tristesses d'insolubilité pour l'éternité, je suis à ras-bord je peux pas. Je peux plus. Y a une date de péremption pour ces conneries, clairement.

@uichelorraine @oschwand je débarque, du coup je ne sais pas si c'est ironique ou sérieux, le sujet DD.
Mon avis est le même que les deux au-dessus.
Les questions à se poser sont : est-ce un disque interne ou externe ? Si interne, faut-il de la vitesse ou de la capacité ?

Si interne et vitesse (et prix pas un critère) : SSD. Sinon, mécanique.
Solidité : oui, ne pas le faire tomber, réduire autant que possible les on/off (ça use) et compter une durée de vie de 4 ans (si plus, tant mieux)

Sunday my wife, long Covid since 35 months, had for the fourth time some painful symptoms: acute atrocious pain in the left chest both on the front and under the arm, that spreads up to the ear and down to the hip, eyefield restriction, the left arm becomes impossible to move, she shakes and the left arm and the left hand inflates.

Some symptoms (inflated arm, reduced or absence of sensation in the arm, pain in the arm, some movement of the arm being impossible) last up to several months.
No clinical signs of a stroke, nothing abnormalon MRI. This happens when she is exhausted and in severe sleep deprivation for too long.
I wonder if anyone else had experienced or heard of these symptoms.

You know, I'm beginning to have serious doubts about Google's AI capabilities. If Google hasn't yet figured out how to spot motorcycles, buses, traffic signals and fire hydrants without our assistance, maybe that's a bad sign for its artificial intelligence capabilities. 😂

Now it's the brown mini-horse's turn to eat grain out of my gloved hand, while the fluffy llama lurks on the edge of the photo (his eyelashes are quite impressive right in the corner of the photo). There's snow on the ground under both animals.

We had to say goodbye to our sweet Happy. She was the very best girl & we had so many adventures together. Happy hiked mountains in Colorado, camped with us in Texas, ran across California’s beaches & pranced through the Michigan snow.

She named herself Happy & loved every person she ever met. We have always felt extremely lucky to find her on Congress Ave & came to call her our Austin terrier since she was a little bit of every breed. We will miss her every day.

@utzer @RyunoKi that's what I was thinking. In this case, as far as I can tell, it is not censorship, the issue, but carpet bombing that destroys (as main goal or collateral damage) the physical infrastructure of the internet.

@RyunoKi mesh and wifi bridging aren't useful in this case. Those could create a local net but no connection to the internet would be possible without going through Israel and or Egypt.

  • l'équipe n'a pas adopté des mesures anti-dopage considérées comme suffisantes au niveau mondial (deux pays)
  • et son tallonneur est censé être exclu pour insulte raciale
  • et ils ont sciemment utilisé à tort un protocole commotion pour ne pas finir un match à 14
  • et 3 erreurs arbitraux ont été reconnus en faveur de l'équipe aux quarts
  • et qu'ils sont doués à faire revoir les actions qui les pénalisent par l'arbitre. Trop doués

Tomb of chemist Marie Curie in the Pantheon in Paris. The tomb is lined with three centimeters of lead to protect the public from radiation, as the scientist's remains are radioactive to this day.
Curie was a French-Polish scientist who won the Nobel Prize in physics in 1903 and the Nobel Prize in chemistry in 1911. This makes her the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the first person to win twice, and the only person to win in two different sciences.

@jeffowski The last one is not true. There are two person who won a Nobel prize in two different categories, Marie Curie (or more accurately Marie Skłodowska-Curie), and, later, Linus Pauling.
Linus Pauling is the only one who was awarded the two Nobel prizes as a single recipient.

J'ai toujours bien aimé , mais j'avoue, je ne savais pas comment contribuer, ou je n'en avais pas le temps. Et tout a changé lorsque est arrivé : pouvoir compléter les informations nécessaires sur le champs, c'était mon flux idéal.
Petit souci : j'habitais Paris et il n'y avait que très très peu de quêtes.
Du coup je n'ai que très peu contribué en France, un peu plus en Italie, Grèce et Espagne.

    The adorable Venezuelan poodle moth was discovered & photographed in 2009 by Dr. Arthur Anker. It’s supposedly the only sighting of this critter, but insects are small & Earth is big. So imagine the diversity of species we haven’t found yet…

    I’m finally trying to draw a TG monogram for myself!

    While doing some research, I found this kind of old english blackletter G, and I immediately saw a rooster in the counter. 🐓

    And guess what? My family name Goguely comes from Coquely, which literally means “little rooster” (“petit coq” in French). Does it work? Do you see it too? 🧐

    Is it better with the eye, with the long vertical line drawing the beak, or the “classic” one with the short line?

    Same thing without the eye but with a long vertical line suggesting the rooster’s beak.
    Same thing without anything in the head counter-space.
