@exkclamation Filter a single user's post in your main timeline? Probably not. You can set a filter to persist, but not only for a specific user. You can have a persisting filter on a user's post timeline.
It would be helpful to have the option to filter an account (similar to how we can disable boosts on a per user basis) to only show posts with media attached …or perhaps even the opposite: only posts without media. 🙏
@ivory so, my iOS app subscription suddenly reverted back to "FREE" mode this morning, and when I try to restore purchases in-app it tells me "No valid subscriptions found" even thought my subscription is active until next year... 😳
I tried restarting the app (and the phone), and also with/without wifi on, nothing works.
@ivory hmm, apparently I lost the ability to download the beta in TestFlight when I installed the app store version? Oh well, no big deal. I will sign up again if you need beta testers in the future.🤓
It was one of those serendipitous moments… the car stopped by traffic, I looked to the left and said “wow”, rolled down my window, snapped one shot of the view, then traffic loosened and we continued onward. 🤪
Stumbled onto this old concert footage of the #BeastieBoys performing at #Bonnaroo in 2009. So good.
Pretty crazy watching this knowing now that it was their last live performance as a trio—as less than a month later MCA would be diagnosed with cancer.
I was fortunate to see them at a few key concerts over the years, most notably the 1996 Tibetan Freedom Concert in Golden Gate Park. And as you can see in the Bonnaroo footage... they really did put on a fun show. RIP
Jesse James the #cat wishes you all a very Happy New Year 🎉 …and in preparation for the festivities, he suggests that everyone find their favorite towel to snuggle up with on this fine #Caturday afternoon.
The SF #LEGO Store unexpectedly closing is hitting me extra hard. 🧱 It was always fun to visit and the employees were so nice.
I also didn't realize that it had only been open since 2016? Pretty sure that was the first year my young son and I started going to participate in the monthly events there! Such a special time for both of us.
Hopefully they have plans to reopen somewhere else in San Francisco soon...
@SomeGadgetGuy 💯 …and especially with all the transition in downtown SF right now, I guess retail turnover is to be expected.
On the bright side, San Francisco has always been a city of reinvention and change, so likely this will all lead to bigger and better new things down the road 🤞
@DemocracySpot me too!! Prefect location to watch sunrises. 🤩 (and I am infinitely jealous of all those houses above/behind the park that get this view every day!!)
Is that 30th St? I've forgotten. I do remember it was a long, tough slog for me from 24th and Homestead. As many times as I went, I never took my camera. 🤷♂️
@DemocracySpot thank you! 🥰 This was taken at sunrise at Bryce Canyon last weekend. It was 20°F and I had far too few layers on to feel sane—but still lucked into a few fun shots. 🥶
I seem to usually do better with urban landscapes, but have a few more choice nature snaps that I hope to post soon too, stay tuned! 😉
@docpop this was my first time seeing it, and it really perked me up (especially after a bumpy exhausting flight home). I love it when interesting art is just sprinkled into the fabric of our lives.
My family has loved going in past years at the San Mateo Fairgrounds and I'm really looking forward to seeing what the event has evolved into for this next incarnation on #MareIsland!
NOTE: Discounted early-bird tickets are only available until tomorrow (Aug 31st), so get in now if you're planning to attend!
@brennansv How exciting, you’re going to have a great time!!
YES! I got there on Sunday right as Adam Savage was finishing his 10am 'Sunday Sermon' + answering questions from the crowd (link below, if you haven't seen it yet).
The 'industrial' venue along the Napa river is really fitting for the DIY/maker theme and I love the whole aesthetic. The event carries a similar overall vibe as before, and they did a great job setting everything up so there’s space to explore!
