@aral There is no genocide committed by Israel. If they'd aim for that, they'd be done by now. It's another nasty big lie perpetrated by the islamofascist ruling caste of the palestinians.

@lednaBM @JeanPDeliet Sure, some individuals did some remarkable things while beeing atheists.

My remark was aimed at atheism as an overal social movement. Freeing people from superstitious believes should be a noble cause carried out with a carefully crafted strategy respecting people from all classes and backgrounds.

Yet somehow atheist lobbying always tends to devolve into 'haha you deists so stupid ugh ugh, lol!'. Alas, no impact beyond beeing perceived as a bunch of dickheads.

@nosmaharba @lednaBM @JeanPDeliet My guess is the really smart deists are either A) sitting in lone monastrys writing very smart if slightly dull books I should probably read but likely never will or B) are out there, doing the Lords work (literally) and not wasting time and energy in pointless arguments.

    @EmpeRohr @fedieltern Ach, da muss man auch einfach mal die größe haben das wegzugrinsen oder mit nem frechen Spruchleinzu kontern, ohne sich gleich persönlich angegangen zu fühlen.

    Die Grenzen des geistigen Horizontes der anderen sind deren Problem. Sich über Deppen zu ärgern bringt nix außer Sodbrennen.

    @livinghell Palestinians made it clear genocide is what they want. It's a bit puzzling they are so enraged, now that they are the ones on the receiving end.

    Don't get me wrong, all the death, all the pain, it's heartwrenching. Yet every single politician in charge on every side is actively working to erradicate the other side. This is the path they choose for themselves.

    I'm saying I'd be a lot more sympathetic to the palestinian cause if they'd be like "stop killing us so we can live our lives in peace." instead of like "Stop killing us because we want to kill you instead."

    OK, so Sam Kerr, superstar footballer and Aboriginal Australian badass lesbian heroine, was charged in the UK with “racially aggravated harassment of a police officer”, which had everyone scratching their heads concerned for a few days

    Then it came out that all she did (for better or worse) was call a cop a “stupid white bastard”, which is of course a completely regular and good thing to call a cop, and now she is even more beloved in Australia and beyond

    @livinghell Japanese would have been no better, only they failed early. The arab expansion in some areas lasted well into the 20th century and might in fact just be on a hiatus. You have the russian colonization of Ukraine, the chinese colonization of Tibet, the palestinian insisting on pulling a genocide on the jews and so on and so fort.

    Humans tend to define outgroups and beat the shit out of them. White people didn't one morning wake up and invented it.
