Literally the opposite. Why would they ever do that? You are underestimating how easy it is to do nothing, game progress is beyond negligible in terms of storage space. And deleting it would reduce any chance of returning customers.

Look at it from sony’s PoV, if they did delete saves and then the community becomes less upset next year, why would they want to preemptively prevent people for giving them another chance?

Not only would it be a terrible business and PR move, there is just no precedent for this type of thing. Do MMO’s delete your characters once you unsub? Or do they just sit tight and wait for you to come back?

It’s important to understand that Hank is specific to say “correct prounons” and not “preferred prounons”. We as creature of civilization have to right to control our place in that creation, so when someone misgenders, it’s not that they are nessecarily showing disrespect, but being factually wrong. It’s okay to state the wrong thing if you don’t know, but if you insist that only YOUR interpretation of another person is correct, even more so than how THEY THEMSELVES interpret themselves, then you have crossed the rubicon in to bigotry.

To see another person on the street and think you have a better view of them than they do in a mirror is just wild levels of arrogance. They know themslevss far more than you ever will.

Tesla fans have taken issue with the word “recall” in the past when the company has proven adept at fixing its problems through over-the-air software updates. But they likely will have to admit that, in this case, the terminology applies.

Even if Tesla sucks super hard, I agree with these complaints. I immediately checked to see if this was a “real” recall or a software one. Since they all need some physical work on them it definitely applies, but I really wish they used a different term for software update “recalls”. It’s confusing word choice.

If you are “too big to fail”, as in you not operating is disaster for the nation, then you literally need to be nationalized. Some will complain that’s socialism, but it’s literally the market determining that X industry isn’t profitable.

It’s only evil socialism if tax money helps poor people, not executive bonuses.

It’s horrific for the employees and a scathing indictment as capitalism as a whole. But, this is how large businesses work, not nessecarily a massive corporate slip up.

Compete? Idk I think of it as a win win. I don’t want to date a guy who would call a chatbot their gf, so sure, why not? Let them self select out of the dating pool. Mind you, it’s not a real relationship because it’s just a glorified autocomplete with rendered boobs, it’s not alive and it’s definitely not intelligent, artifical or other wise. Relationships are boundaries, growing together and appreciating the little moments of life. No LLM is gonna do that.
