    I just finished recording an episode of the @thunderbird podcast, where we interviewed @mconley who is a principal engineer at Firefox. It’s one of those chats that will reignite your love for both the early internet era and .

    It’s conversations like this that make me sorely miss my own podcast.

    Luckily for all of us, Mike will also be a guest on @Linux4Everyone in the near future, because we have a lot more geeking out to do!

    I just woke up from a vivid nightmare about attending an conference.

    I was tasked with serving coffee. But no one liked my . Not a single person.

    They said it was too strong, too bitter. I tried explaining its quality, its origins, and why it was a terrific blend, but I lacked the vocabulary to do it. I couldn't convince them.

    It was terrible.

    (I don't know why this was set at an Ubuntu conference, but it was an awesome, bonding, beautiful event in my head).

    @baldpolnareffart This is exactly me. I buy either from Teneo, Cogito, or Kavantura here in Zagreb. All specialty roasters who have absolutely incredible blends and regional offerings.

    @darth I'd recommend something a little lighter with this like an aeropress or drip coffee. Definitely try a range of brew methods and see which one brings out the "brightness" for you.

    For almost 4 decades I have been obsessed with . I air drummed all over everything. I spent a good 8 years playing the crap out of Rock Band's Pro/Expert drum mode and destroying at least 3 of those fake plastic toys. But it DID teach me some fundamentals...

    Today, at 47 years old, I finally have the real thing. (Sure, they're digital drums, but you get my meaning.)

    This is my drum kit. There are many others like it, but this one is mine.

    (Yes, area rug is incoming...)

    Nor did I realize they had Melodics integration. That is REALLY tempting. Thank you for the heads-up!

    @imabuddha Ahh, did I misunderstand you? You said "considering if I should pay the extra $50 to get access to the songs on melodics."

    Still, their interface is perfect and it may even help me learn drum notation.
