Here we go with another enshittification. I was unaware that Bending Spoons acquired Filmic. I frequently use Filmic’s apps, particularly the DoubleTake app, which I still use to simultaneously capture footage from both the front and back cameras, especially during concerts. Lots of films and music videos were shot using Filmic Pro too (Tangerine, The Florida Project, Stupid Love MV by Lady Gaga)

Sad to see what happened with the team.

My favorite part of Singapore is little India. Not only was I born there, it’s also a constantly changing place. Great food from north to south India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. You can get MTR benne dose, Courtallam Border Kadai, Anjappar, Junior Kuppana and all the top restaurants from south India here. You can also get homegrown Indian Singaporean food, like the Chettinad food I love and the handmade chapatis at Azmi on Norris Road.

If you grew up in a rice-eating culture, you'll probably know what https://wikipedia.org/wiki/Scorched_rice is. In #Filipino|#Tagalog, they're called kaning tutong, or simply tutong.

During a visit to a marketplace, looking for local delicacies, I chanced upon this. The translation app said it's "crispy rice crust" , and in the #Philippines , these are never commercially sold, and are the unwanted (?) by-product of cooking rice on a stove.
