That wealth isn't real.

It's mostly stock market value and real estate and so on.

And it's only worth as much because there are other rich people creating that demand. Seize those assets and the demand vanishes, the stock market plummets and the wealth is obliterated.

That's a parallel universe with little overlap to our universe.

Same with the giant yachts, no super rich, no buyers, scrap metal.

Vor 50 Jahren das letzte Mal teilgenommen, 22 cm im Weitsprung, 31 cm mit der Kugel und über eine Minute über 100 m. Nachdem mir dann mitgeteilt wurde, dass ich über 1000 Meter ankommen müsste bevor ich losgelaufen bin, um noch auf eine 5 zu kommen, bin ich dann in den Sitzstreik getreten.

When I grew up there was no measles vaccination, I lost my sense of equilibrium over the MEI - "long measles". No diving, no bicycle, aso.

When I grew up there was no consumer protection. No seat belts or airbags. My father got a minor physical handicap and died in his sixties.

Wenn man es von hinten rechnet, dann muss der Strompreis am Produktionsstandort bei 0,2¢ liegen, damit sich grüner Wasserstoff rechnet.

Bei dem Preis lohnt es sich allerdings auch diesen Strom in Batterien aufzufangen und diese nach Deutschland zu transportieren. Dazu könnte man Öltanker umrüsten und den Rumpf mit Kochsalzbatterien füllen.

Mindestens so sinnvoll wie die Wasserstoffidee. /s

Ich finde ABA eine geeignete Methode um Angehörige und Umfeld zu trainieren um mehr Toleranz, Akzeptanz und Rücksicht gegenüber Neurodiversität zu entwickeln.

Jedesmal, wenn jemand sagt "reiß dich zusammen", bekommt derjenige einen Elektroschock, bis er aufhört die Floskel zu benutzen.

neurotypicals want to use LLMs to expand emails into a "formal" thing and then summarize them to get to the point because the email needs to sound "polite" and "formal." Somehow, despite all this, they think neurodivergent people are the weird ones

I would like to communicate that way. But only the all caps part, and only the second one. Nothing else needed. I know that I'm the receiver, it was sent to me, or I'm cc and have to look in the header. I know the sender from the header. That would be much more efficient.

Ist denn Leuten nicht bewusst was die kWh Heizenergie bei der Wärmepumpe kostet?

Die Hälfte des Heizölpreises und zwei Drittel des Gaspreises.

Und Öl und Gas kann ich auf dem eigenen Grundstück nicht fördern. Aber mit der einmaligen Anschaffung einer 5kW-PV kann ich genug Strom erzeugen um ein Einfamilienhaus komplett zu heizen. Bzw übers Jahr soviele Strom selbst erzeugen, wie ich im Winter für die Wärmepumpe brauche.

Als Mieter würde ich gegen den Einbau einer fossilen Heizung durch den Vermieter klagen.
