I’m angered, sure. But I don’t think “racist politician shitposts” rises to the level of importance that I’d vote/comment on it. I try to avoid feeding into the outrage machine too much. But then, I prolly wouldn’t have voted/commented on any of the other topics you mentioned, either. Most of the time I’m just a lurker, I’m part of the problem.

Drawing. I used to aspire to be a serious graphic novelist, but that was really hard and really stressful. So I set that aside for a little while and tried drawing hentai instead, since I was always kinda into it. I figured I’d never show any of it to anybody, so I took it less seriously and had more fun with it.

It still feels kinda silly to say, but the experience sorta helped me discover a feminine side I didn’t realize I had, and gave me the space and a medium to explore it. Eventually I tried drawing myself as a woman, and then it was just a matter of accepting that I wanted it to be a reality.

I’m on a jammin’ jelly kick right now. Jam on toast, jam in oatmeal, jam in yogurt, jam on… well, that’s about it.

I don’t get triggered just by opening the fridge tho. Usually it’s like “hey I haven’t had this in a while” and I eat it nonstop for like a week until I’m sick of it, then don’t touch it again for a few months. Nutella is currently on the hate list.

Well it’s obviously better because if consumers get mad about the decisions from the death panel at company A, they can just go to company B. Like if you don’t like McDonald’s, you can just go to Burger King instead.

Except there might not be a Burger King restaurant (let’s say in Burger King’s “network”) anywhere near where you live. And your employer already decided that everyone on the payroll has to eat at McDonald’s, and trying to deviate from that is a gigantic expensive hassle for some reason. And you’re basically locked into a single burger chain for the year, except for a tiny window of time when you can elect to switch. And you’re on the verge of starvation.
