Another near field goal of mine is to figure out if doing a daily diary in Obsidian is something I’d benefit from.
I have all the automations and macros set up, I just have like a month of blank daily notes pages where I haven’t entered anything. I’ve found myself creating new notes for specific things, but I haven’t been able to do daily logs consistently and I’m trying to figure out if it’s because I’m not used to it, or if it’s just something I don’t really need to do.
One of my big goals this year is to externalize my brain because it gets real murky in my head sometimes. I FEEL like the IDEA of daily logs would help, but I’m unsure if it would in practice and if it’s something I need to push myself to do
My take: don't give yourself any pressure to do it unless you figure out why you'd want to do it. Otherwise it can become another thing on the ever-growing mental pile.
This morning, a scrub turkey broke in to my house, knocked shit everywhere in my kitchen, destroyed the guaze in the bathroom window and shat everywhere in my hall, including up the side of the walls.
It's a good thing I love birds, because that bird tested me...
