Funny thing, today I opened the sub CasualUK on Reddit, and there was a photo of David Attenborough just before I saw the title announcing his birthday. I almost had a heart attack, I thought he had passed away. He turned 98! Sir David is truly a world treasure!

@jasonekratz Absolutely! Band of Brothers set the bar high, no doubt about that! But Masters of the Air is holding its own, especially among this year's new TV shows—it's ranking pretty high for me. Plus, it's another baby of Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, so it's hard to be too critical.😊 They tend to deliver quality every time!
@pdbowman I'm really glad you liked it! Kate Winslet's performance is fantastic! It's refreshing to see such big-screen talent grace TV shows nowadays. Mare of Easttown was definitely a binge-worthy experience for me, I finished it in just one weekend!

Is anyone else noticing how quickly our food is expiring? I mean, I had to toss out a pack of biscuits I bought two months ago—biscuits should last longer than that, shouldn't they? And now, just bought some butter a few days ago, only to find out it expires in less than a month! It's really frustrating! 🤔 #question
@MagentaRocks You're absolutely right! Food expiration dates can often be misleading, and many products remain perfectly safe to consume well beyond their labeled date. I'm definitely not going to throw away the butter; in fact, I've had experiences with yogurt lasting well past its expiration date, still tasting fine even two weeks later. However, I must admit defeat with the biscuits, perhaps it's a sign from the universe urging me to cut down on sugar intake! 😬
@WagesOf A great victory! I've even opted for slightly pricier treats in pursuit of better taste, but it's disappointing when even those options seem to decline in quality over the years. (I'm looking at you, #lindt )

I headed out for a morning walk at Mountain Lake Lodge in Virginia during a light autumn rain last year. The trees sheltered me from most of it. The early morning light and fall colors were amazing!
